I knew the first long run post-marathons 1+2 was going to be tough, but I have really felt in good form this week following Monday’s exertions.
This run was, however, a struggle. The last 5 felt akin to that marathon feeling at mile 21! I suppose this has made it a worthwhile session and after doing 47 miles this week I can now taper for Edinburgh. The only part of me not holding out is my toe-nails(the ones that are left)!!
