Taking my daughter to her dance lessons provided me a great opportunity to run around Ballyclare park.
It was another fairly quick, but short (2.4mile) run, made all the more interesting (from a statistical analysis point of view) by the long-awaited return of my Garmin GPS watch!
My legs feel fantastic given the fact that Belfast was only 4 days ago. These shorter sharp runs are essential even for marathon runners, to keep the pace up and prevent becoming too ‘one-paced’.
The anticipated weekend run should be around 15 miles. It will really test the conditions of my leg muscles…
