Second marathon in as many weeks done…hallelujah! One to go…

Another very hot day, but the home support made all the difference this time around with me squeezing in under 4hrs at 3:58!

Surprisingly the legs feel great and I was out walking the dog this evening, so it bodes well for marathon number three…

Things were on track at a solid 8:30/mi pace for the first 16 miles. Cramps & nausea threatened to de-rail the whole race at mile 21 but I got back on track and finished fairly strongly given the conditions.
